The High Capacity series is designed for the most demanding jobs. Thanks to the Merlo technology, the High Capacity can handle very heavy loads and at the same time offer unique high operating stability and speed of manoeuvre.

Thanks to the regenerating device, the High Capacity models are able to optimise performance by best managing the lifting speed and power depending on the type of procedure, considerably reducing operating time and costs.

These models are designed for work in ports, quarries and mines, and for large material handling both with forks and with winches and loaders.

There are two Turbofarmer High Capacity models as follows:

• The Turbofarmer "Heavy Duty" range is equipped with Tier 2 FPT Engine 170 HP
• Merlo hydrostatic transmission with EPD (Eco Power Drive) as standard.
• As always, Merlo telehandlers are equipped with hydrostatic transmissions for improved precision, safety and ease of use. The EPD can reduce fuel consumption by 18%, giving a real yearly saving.
• The EPD Top has a "speed control" (2) button which memorises the machine's movement speed and keeps it constant. The Eco function, ideal for the yard handling operations, limits the motor's rpm, thereby obtaining further savings.
• In operations with the PTO (optional), the potentiometer (1) allows to set the revs in correspondence with the attachment used (540/1000). The system keeps the revs within the threshold, ensuring the correct rpm for which the attachment is intended, maximising the performance and productivity of the machine. 
• The self-accelerating joystick is adopted as standard, through which more speed of the boom's hydraulic movement is possible, thereby optimising performnce. The system activated beyond the threshold of 20% of the joystick's movements.
