It was 1964 when Amilcare Merlo and his sister Natalina began designing and producing machines for construction for handling materials. Starting with the self-loading concrete mixers and then with the telehandlers, the range has continued to grow and has completely revolutionised the construction machinery market.
Whichever machine you choose, from the front loading telehandlers, to roto rotating telehandler , to the small and multi-purpose Cingo, you can always rely on cutting edge Merlo technology. Conception, design and production all take place in-house and guarantee a product with exceptional performance, where each component has been conceived and designed specifically for the model on which it will be used. There are no compromises; this is the only way to ensure excellent performances and unique cutting edge technologies. This has allowed us to enjoy over 60 years of success in the construction industry.
A wide and comprehensive range is a testimony to our commitment to continually developing new technologies and new applications for our products.
The Turbofarmer telehandlers TT Range offer genuine all-rounders capable of being used in the most varied kinds of work.
We offer five models in the construction range as follows:
- TF38.10-115 EE
- TF42.7-115 EE
- TF38.10TT-145
- TF-42.7TT-145
All equipped with ASCS (Adaptive Stability Control System), captive electronic joystick plus left hand dual reverser.
Selected models are available with boom suspension and cabin suspension. (Optional)
Engines and Transmissions
Higher Performance and Lower Consumption
- The Turbofarmer range is equipped with Tier 5 engines. Plus range of Tier 2 non AdBlue.
100Kw/136hp 3.6L @2300rpm, torque 500nm@ 1600 pm Deutz
- Merlo hydrostatic transmission with EPD (Eco Power Drive) as standard (2) in picture. As always, Merlo telehandlers are equipped with hydrostatic transmissions for improved precision and safety with "active" braking. Deutz powered versions are also equipped with EPD providing electronic control of the combustion engine, thereby helping to reduce consumption by 18% for effective annual savings.
- EPD Plus version adds the "Speed control" (3) mode that allows the speed of the machine's movement speed to be memorised and to keep it constant (ideal for yard handling operations) and the ECO mode that limits the motor rpm, thereby obtaining further savings.
- All models with an electronic joystick (standard on CS) have the EPD Top System, which adds to the EPD Plus version the automated control of the diesel revs according to the movements of the telescopic boom, optimising the performance of the machine and keeping consumption to a minimum.
- The Turbofarmers are equipped with the "fan drive" (1) system that allows you to change the rotation direction of the fan, from suction to blowing, to clean radiator grill.
